Yes, we know it's been awhile since you've seen any Koolarrow updates - the truth is that with the string of FNM tourdates this past year, it's given us the opportunity to take stock and regroup, and enact some changes that will make Koolarrow a much more happening place to be. In the coming months, you can expect big changes to the website, but more than that, a string of releases that we are extremely proud to roll out....from the Koolarrow bands you're already familiar with, it's been very gratifying to see our artists getting better and better at what they do with each release (yeah, that's how it's supposed to work, but when it actually DOES, it reminds us why we're doing this)...but meanwhile, there will be new additions to the fold as well, and these will all be announced in due time.

FLATTBUSH...
have just finished the recording of their new sonic blitzkrieg, entitled "OTOMATIK ATTAK!". These guys have spent the better part of two years on it, and wow, it shows. Classic Flattbush, but the punches hit harder and, well, it just works. This self-produced Official release is scheduled for Sept. 28, along with imminent tour dates. Check this site for upcoming news!

LA PLEBE:
Meanwhile, the mixing is done, artwork is being compiled for what will surely be the most definitive La Plebe album to date. Further details will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.... For all of you fans in the Balkans/Central Europe, dates for their summer "Brazo en Brazo" tour are now posted in the »tourdates section.

This year Koolarrow CEO, Mr. Gould, will be spending a little less time with Koolarrow and a little more time with his other job. Look for his updates on »Twitter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JELLO BIAFRA
It's not a Koolarrow event, but it's Kool, and it's happening for two nights at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall: BIAFRA FIVE - 0This event will mark 50 years of Jello Biafra plaguing the earth (and the 30th anniversary of the Dead Kennedys), on June 16 and 17.Music will be provided Los Olvidados, Drunk Injuns, Tricops, Akimbo, The Melvins (with and without Jello), and the debut of his new bandfeaturing Ralph Spight, Jon Weiss, and Billy Gould. KULTUR SHOCK AND LA PLEBE BACK TO EUROPE
It's summer touring season, and we've got two Koolarrow bands planning yet another European attack. Our one and only La Plebe come to their belovedBalkans for yet a THIRD time, but will also mark some great shows in Western Europe for the first time, making their debut in France, Germany (shows withLagwagon and the Real Mackenzies), the UK, and more!! Meanwhile, lotsof festivals for Kultur Shock, including thefamous Exit (Serbia) andSziget (Hungary) festivals, and the excellent Dirty Old Festival(Croatia).
